KAGIS

Keeping Adolescent Girls in School

KAGIS is a five-year gender-transformative project supporting adolescent girls to realize their rights to safe, quality, and gender-responsive education in Kibondo and Kakonko districts.

  • Improves participation of girls in primary and secondary education.
  • Implemented with Plan International, Women Promotion Centre, and Rafiki SDO.
  • Funded by Global Affairs Canada and individual Canadian donors.

Community Mobilization to Prevent Violence

SASA! is an evidence-based community mobilization approach that supports people to use power positively and create safer, violence-free communities for women.

Empowering Girls and Young Women

Wezesha Binti promotes safe and supportive environments for girls and young women, using the SASA! Together approach to advance equality, protection, services, and livelihood pathways.

  • Promotes gender equality and prevention of harmful practices.
  • Improves access to SRHR and GBV services.
  • Supports education, skills development, and economic opportunities.

Girls Improving Resilience through Livelihood and Health

Girl-H aims to improve wellbeing and increase access to education, economic, and civic engagement opportunities for adolescents and young people aged 10 to 24.

  • Offers mentoring and financial support.
  • Provides market information and business guidance.
  • Supports vulnerable young women and youth toward employment or enterprise.
